Sound of Mint is an electro-ethnic duo by FADEL LAHLOU & JOEL PELLEGRINI based between France & Hungary.
Their collaboration led them to create a new musical concept fusing electronic music and atypical acoustic / analogic instruments from all over the world.
Sound of Mint have collaborated with renowned World Music
musicians such as Samba Diabaté, Abou Diarra, Mbemba Diabaté, Sami Chaouki and Marta Lunares to name a few releasing numerous major original tracks on some of the most prestigious international Afro-House & Electro-Ethnic record labels such as Buddha Bar Records (Paris, France), Madorasindahouse (Greece), AltOrient (Canada), Camel Riders Records (Israel), Medina Records (Morocco).
Their mystical, captivating, traditional, avant-garde original compositions have received remarkable support from the biggest names in the electronic music scene such as Black Coffee, Adam Port, Blond:ish, Laurent Garnier, Acid Pauli, Nick Warren, Sabo to name a few; allowing them to tour more than 300+ shows across France, Greece, Morocco, Mexico, the USA, Canada and Angola.
This vibrant & energetic duo can be described as a colorfully orchestrated electro-ethnic live performance with both surprising and enchanting improvisations inspired by the cultures of the world.
